Denny Chong
Founder & CEO
Denny brings more than 20 years of experience in the banking and finance industry as well as a business entrepreneur. He has held roles at United Overseas Bank Singapore, corporate banking; Head of Marketing (Equity Products and Services), Singapore Exchange; Head of Banking and Finance Division with Brunel International, a global head-hunting company. Denny also has vast experience working with financial institutions and government agencies in China, Hong Kong, ASEAN and the Middle East.
Fuelled by his passion to create new products and services, he went on to set up Blue Magnolia – a premium pastry house serving the MNCs and private banks in Singapore and Notion 4.5 Design Agency – a design consultancy providing consultation to MNCs and banks in Singapore.
Having worked in both corporate and entrepreneurial settings he is able to think strategically, map out and implement the business vision and at the same time, how it should contribute to society. This lead him to start Link Capital in partnership with agarwood farmers and the governments of Laos PDR and Singapore. A partnership that will raise the GDP for Laos in a sustainable way and improve the quality of life for farmers and the community through CSR activities. Importantly, it will be the first agarwood Centre of Excellence to be established in Singapore.
As a project that requires immense amount of strategic planning and partnerships with stakeholders, every milestone is an achievement for Denny and he is driven by his passion to build a business with strong fundamentals. He is often described by his peers as
leader with vision, a good team player, generous and fair person.
He has recently enrolled with Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE) - the national voice for start-ups to mentor the next generation of young entrepreneurs in Singapore.

A Singaporean having worked with Japan, US, Indonesia and Singapore MNCs, he has accumulated over 40 years of senior management experience covering 12 different countries in Asia, Australia and the Middle East Region.
In his years of professional career, he spent ten years each in Japan and Indonesia, over four years each in Malaysia and Australia managing businesses in multiple sectors: FMCG, commodities trading, agri-food (plantation & manufacturing), F&B, ICT and system integration, Energy-saving solutions & products, as well as infrastructure and construction.
In recent years, he has been actively engaged in agrotech projects related to aquaculture and agriculture businesses.

Chong Kok Kee is the CEO of AsiaNext, a digital asset exchange being set up in Singapore as a JV between SBI Digital Asset Holding (Japan) and SIX Group AG (Switzerland). He brings a wide range of expertise in FinTech, hospitality and real estate, banking, and capital markets, specifically in areas of corporate strategy and governance, business development, risk management, corporate finance, tech, operations, and compliance.
His career to date included senior leadership positions in global multinationals like UBS (Managing Director/COO/CFO), JP Morgan (Managing Director/COO) and UK FTSE listed Millennium & Copthorne Plc (Group CFO). He was formerly the CEO/COO of two regulated digital asset/crypto exchanges, also based in Singapore.
He has more than 30 years' working experience in several locations including China (9 years), Taiwan (4 years), as well as Hong Kong, Zurich, New York, London, and Singapore. He holds an Honours Degree in Accountancy from NUS and is a Fellow member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, Institute of Certified Public Accountants Australia and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants UK, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA, CGMA).
Dr Brian Shegar

Dr Brian Shegar President, UAE Singapore Business Council and CEO & Founder, ME Asia Consultancy. Dr Brian Shegar’s forty-year career covers leadership international banking experience with focus on South East and South Asia, Asia Pacific and Middle East as CEO of Midland Bank, NedBank and Emirates NBD.
Upon his retirement from Emirates NBD in 2018, Dr Shegar established ME-Asia Consultancy Pte Ltd and is the Founding President of the UAE Singapore Business Council. He is a Member of the Global Advisory Board of CASS Business School and the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Gulf Economics, Trade and Finance. Dr Shegar holds a BSc, Hons (Banking and International Finance) and an MSc (Finance) from the CASS Business School of City, University of London. He was awarded a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Western Australia Business School. He has also presented papers and spoken at numerous seminars and conferences.

Clarence Tang is the Founder and Managing Director of Eco-Solutise Pte Ltd. He has more than 20 years of global experiences working with renowned academic-research institutions and public-listed companies. He has previously held both functional leadership and management roles in the technical development and market commercialisation of sustainable product technologies and digital solutions.
As a strong advocate and practitioner in business sustainability and decarbonisation strategies, Clarence has spearheaded strategic international collaborations and he has delivered value-added outcome with the public-private organisations, industry associations and academic-research institutions. He has published several scientific publications and patents, presented at international conferences/events, and he is currently serving as an International Panel Expert with the Asia Carbon Institute (ACI).
Clarence graduated with a Doctorate of Science from ETH Zurich, Master of Science (Engineering) from Chalmers University of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from the National University of Singapore.

Gideon Lam is the Chief Executive Officer of Shalom International Movers Pte Ltd (Shalom Movers). Shalom Movers has over 42 years of experience in the logistics industry. With his leadership, Shalom Movers has diversified its services into aviation, sea freight, air freight, last-mile delivery, recycling and waste-management. Today, Shalom Movers is the leading moving company in Singapore.
Gideon emphasizes the strategic importance of investing in education and skills development as part of a comprehensive workforce transformation strategy at Shalom Movers. As a lifelong learner himself, he advocates for enterprises to view education and upskilling initiatives not just as individual benefits but as integral components of a broader plan to enhance the company's competitiveness. Dr Yek currently serves part-time as Principal Officer (Special Projects) at ITE (Institute of Technical Education) Headquarters. He recently retired as Principal of ITE College East.
He is an experienced professional in vocational and technical education with multiple National Level awards and more than 40 years of experience in Singapore’s education scene.
Out of which, he has more than 25 years of experience as a member of the Senior Management team at the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), Singapore with a focus on providing effective leadership, setting the overall direction, and formulating management policies to deliver quality and relevant programmes to develop young minds. He is a passionate educator and leader who believes in serving and giving back to the community.
Dr Yek was appointed Principal of ITE College East from April 2015 to October 2024. Prior to this, he was the Principal of ITE College West from 2005 - 2015, ITE College Central in 2005, and ITE East Network from 2000 - 2004.
As a member of the senior Management Team, he is in the front seat playing significant roles in the transformation of ITE over more than 25 years and driving some key transformative projects. He had previously held teaching appointments as Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Ngee Ann Polytechnic (1983-1998). During his tenure at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Dr Yek was responsible for various functions including Strategic Planning, Organisation Review, and promoting Application Research and Development.
He was active in consultancy projects and had worked with many local SMEs on CAD/CAM-CNC Integration, Automation and Computerized Machine Control Projects.
Dr Yek is active in community services and industry advisories. He is currently serving as Founding Advisor, Bernina (Singapore) Advisory Board, a Member of Our Tampines Hub Advisory Committee, an Academic Board member for Singapore Media Academy and a District Councillor of South East CDC.
For his work in Public & Community Service, Dr Yek had received five National Day Awards: The Public Administration Medal (Bronze), PPA(G), in 2004; The Public Administration Medal (Silver), PPA(P), in 2010; The Public Service Medal, PBM, in 2013, The Public Service Star Medal, BBM, in 2021, and The Long Service Medal, PBS, in 2023. He also received the NTUC May Day - Medal of Commendation Award in 2018 and the twenty years Long Service Award from People’s Association in 2020.

Darrel Lee
Director of Operations
More than 20 years of industry experience in project operations and management in the building construction and property management sectors. His forte lies in assisting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to restructure their day-to-day operations to achieve maximum output and competency. He is also a qualified trainer and is trained in workplace safety and health management system.
Darrel graduated with a Bachelor of Business with Double Major (Property and Marketing) from the University of South Australia. He has obtained a Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (SDWSH) as well as an Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) from the Singapore Workforce Development Agency.
